Does this sound familiar?

You are very good at your job. That is not the problem.

Most senior professionals do not need more information, more hours or another resilience technique. They need better thinking, and somewhere confidential to do it.

  1. 01

    Always reacting

Inbox-led days, too much resting on you personally, and no time left to think.

  2. 02

    Success that feels wrong

It looks good from the outside. Privately you keep asking: is this it?

  3. 03

    Performing competence

Over-preparing, second-guessing, and never quite admitting uncertainty.

  4. 04

    Expert, now leader

Still doing too much of the work yourself, because nobody taught you the other job.

  5. 05

    A decision you keep deferring

Partnership, promotion, leaving, staying. Every option feels risky, so nothing moves.

  6. 06

Nobody to think out loud with

You cannot be fully honest with your firm, your team or your family.

The Five Questions

The real choice is not stay or leave. It is drift or decide.

Script, values, strengths, environment, defaults. The five questions I wish someone had put in front of me twenty years earlier, and the spine of most of my coaching.
